“SNOW WHITE: Worse than expected, thankfully the little animals helped prop up the story.

What was impressive was the enhanced life given to the forest and animals from the 1937 cartoon, which was brought into this 2025 film.

What was almost impressive was that the movie had many songs, making it suitable for a sing-along. However, only a few songs were good, and only in certain parts. Some songs were so bad that they detracted from the film, making me want to walk out of the theater.

What was unimpressive: The plot and script were forced, illogical, and disjointed. Rachel Zegler’s Snow White clashed with the movie, especially during the singing scenes where her wide-open mouth made me wonder if a rabbit, squirrel, or bird would get sucked in.

The Evil Queen was like a wasted Gal Gadot, the most pathetic Disney villain ever, lacking elegance, authority, and presence. As for the prince of forest called ‘Thief,’ Andrew Burnap’s ‘petty thief’ was aptly named—petty. Such an unnecessary character.

If they removed Snow White, the Evil Queen, and Jonathan and left only the forest, the dwarfs’ house, the village, and the mine scenes, along with sing-along songs and background music, I’d rate this movie about 5.5/10. These three characters were superfluous, unnecessary, and toxic to the film.
